Building Cisco® Multilayer Switched Networks (BCMSN)
Length: 5 Day
Workshop
Price: $2,900.00
BCMSN teaches you how to build campus networks using multilayer switching
technologies over high speed Ethernet. This course addresses the
integration of routing and switching technologies to create an efficient
campus network. You will identify the Cisco products and services that
enable connectivity and traffic transport over Fast Ethernet. Implement
necessary services at each layer of the network to all users to obtain
membership to multicast groups in a working multilayer switched network.
Our 10 Hands-On Labs provide you with real-world challenges that you will
not get anywhere else. This is an advanced course and we highly recommend
that prerequisites be met prior to attending.
You will learn:
To define Common Workgroups
To manage Redundant Links
To facilitate InterVLAN Routing
To improve IP Routing Performance With Multilayer Switching
To implement HSRP for Fault Tolerant Routing
To manage High Bandwidth Broadcasts With IP Multicasts
